Gotham is a Melbourne-based contemporary womenswear label founded by Gautam Kapoor. Shaped by his studies in Fashion Design at RMIT University and his experience as a design assistant intern with Mary Katrantzou in London, the label approaches clothing through a conceptual and expressive lens.


Each piece becomes a form of individuality and self-expression, using proportion, silhouette, colour, and print to rethink familiar ideas of femininity and masculinity.
Drawing from historical dress, imagined time periods, and dystopian sci-fi references, the garments carry a bold and conceptual mood while remaining connected to the body.


Gotham creates pieces that feel expressive, unconventional, and full of character, balancing a strong visual presence with wearability.
